This project aims to explain some of the most common (and sometimes complex) terms we use on a daily basis.

All the definitions and materials have been created by our Communications team in collaboration with the Centre’s researchers 💻🔍. As we can’t cover all the terms used in science and medicine, we will focus on those that are most relevant to our scientific agenda. 🗓️

What is prevalence? Prevalence is the proportion of people in a population who have a disease or health condition, either at a particular time or over a period of time.
